Measured across two Edmonton medical clinics, December 2025 to June 2026. Here is exactly how we count it.

Why local actually matters here

Most of what an agency does can be done from anywhere. Two things cannot.

The first is Alberta’s rulebook. The Health Information Act, PIPA, CASL express consent and your college’s advertising standards are not the American rules most agency templates are built on. Under Section 64 of the HIA, a privacy impact assessment has to be filed before a new system goes live. We do that as part of onboarding because we have done it twelve times.

The second is a camera. We film in Edmonton. Generation costs collapsed; filming did not. An offshore editing subscription cannot stand in your waiting room.

What marketing costs in Edmonton

Of roughly sixty agencies in this city, thirteen publish a price and one publishes a full rate card. So here is the range you are actually shopping in.

Local SEO runs $500 to $1,800 a month. Single-location SEO clusters around $1,500 — four separate agencies publish exactly that number. Meta and Google Ads management runs $199 to $3,500 flat, and flat is the local norm; percentage-of-spend pricing is rare here and openly criticised. A real small-business website is $1,500 to $8,000. A fully managed clinic programme runs $599 at the budget end to $8,000 at the top.

Our own prices, and what is in each package counted to the post, are published in full.

Built for Alberta clinics

Your practice is governed by the Health Information Act, PIPA, PIPEDA, CASL express consent and your college’s advertising standards. Under Section 64 of the HIA, a privacy impact assessment has to be filed before a new system goes live — including a voice agent. We write every ad, landing page and post to those rules, and we complete that assessment as part of onboarding. If an agency tells you they are “HIPAA compliant,” they are quoting the wrong country’s statute.
